One school, one book

Since The Very, Very Far North and Just Beyond the Very, Very Far North have been published, many schools have chosen them for their One School, One Book event, in which each child from K-6 (and even grades higher) gets a copy and spends from two weeks to a month reading it together in class, or with their family at home, while taking part in dozens of creative activities based on the stories. Some of these schools I have had the privilege to present to afterwards. What I have learned from these hardworking, dedicated librarians and teachers is that these books can captivate a wide range of ages. Below are some the schools which have embraced this reading experience.
