“Perry’s wide-eyed, brightly colored fantasy creations wonderfully evoke a pretend-play world where anything can happen but plenty goes awry, and Bar-el’s deadpan narrative delivers laughs on every page.” STARRED REVIEW
Publishers Weekly, April 2017
Division 10 at Tomsett Elementary really enjoyed the creative characters in It’s GreatBeing a Dad. The characters who are scary in really life are fun in your book.

Just read the book with my youngest son(4)after finding it my older son’s (7) bookshelf. Got it for my husband for Fathers Day a few years back from the kids. It was the only one that made me laugh after a quick read through at B&N in the children’s section! A great read still!
